The first thought I had looking at this card is how often, figures that look spooky or scary, aren't actually malicious presences. The hooded figures look like old women, and the fact that my brain spits out "creepy" says a lot about what our society has done over millennia to make us distrust the wisdom of the Crone. Our card for this week is: Nine of SwordsIn this card we see a figure with long hair falling over her face, her head in her hands, and she is sitting up with her legs covered by a blanket. She's in shades of yellow, with red floral shapes along the trip of her blanket. In the background ominous looking shapes watch on, hooded figures, skulls, and a blindfolded humanoid figure on a throne. Are they the watching ancestors? Spirit guides? The other thing I notice here is the yellow color of the figures clothes, the color of the sun, warmth, energy and power. The color of the solar plexus chakra - the seat of our personal power and self confidence. Here's what this message means for us this week: The journey of stepping into your personal power isn't sunshine and roses all the time, and as you follow your path there will be times when you feel frustration, failure, and even despair. But it's important to remember that your ancestors are watching you, and celebrating you. It's important to remember that your spirit guides are supporting you and helping you along. It's also important to remember that your story, while important, special, and unique, is only one chapter of the long epic history of human consciousness. Your part is important, if not always easy. And even in the moments when you feel alone, scared, or unsure - YOU ARE STILL DIVINELY LED. Here’s what you can do this week to embrace this message:
Key Takeaway: Even in your hardest moments, you are never alone. You have more ancestors and angels than you know, and you can always ask them for help and support. Hi [Name], I’ve been writing a ton this August—and while I haven't even used my tracker’s “fill in” feature for skipped days, it’s not because I’ve been perfect. Some days I write thousands of words. Other days, I don’t write at all. But I’m proud of myself for showing up consistently. Actual excerpt from my 750 words app. And that word—consistently—comes up a lot with my clients. They tell me things like: “I work out, but not consistently.” “I eat healthy, but not consistently.” “I journal,...
