4 Years Ago Today

I don't normally care much for my Facebook Memories, but today I saw one that made me think.

This woman would have been thrilled to know that in 4 years:

  • She finally had her first profitable year in her life coaching biz
  • She moved to New York and bought a perfect little house in the Hudson Valley
  • She's still teaching yoga, and it's still her favorite way to meet people
  • She's a practicing witch
  • Her kid is the most amazing person she's ever met
  • The smut she reads has somehow gotten even smuttier, and has Dragons now!
  • She finally finished those socks she was knitting, but has yet to wear them or weave the ends in.

What would thrill your past self about your life today?

<3 Megan

So grab your notebook and your weekly planner, and get ready to learn a little more about those multitudes inside you. Hi! Welcome to Magical Mondays, where every week I draw a card for us to give some guidance and direction in a world that... well, you know. Did you know that in the witch's calendar Halloween marks the end of one year's cycle, and the start of another? So, in a very real way, for those of us in the northern hemisphere, it is time for a fresh start, and for a whole new journey. This week's card is a reminder of that. The Four of Swords From the A. E. Waite tarot deck This card symbolizes the need for deep rest, sacred rest. I'm not talking about the kind of rest that you grab when you can, after tackling every single chore on your...

I'm pulling back the curtain today. You may have wondered why I'm always so determined to put a picture of EXACTLY the card I drew in my Magic Mondays email! Or, well, maybe you haven't. There's a lot on everyone's minds right now. But there IS a very important reason why I never use a generic "3 of cups" picture when I'm actually pulling from my Illuminated Visions Deck, and why I wouldn't pull an AI image of "herbs" for the card I pulled yesterday. It's because: THE MEANINGS OF THE CARDS...
