Magical Mondays: You gotta have faith

This week's card is:

Wheel of Fortune

By the way, you're reading 🌟Magical Mondays🌟, where every week I draw a card for us to give some guidance and translate it into practical (and magical) steps you can take for your life, business, and personal growth.

This card has two messages for us:

Be patient.

To be honest, this one is not my forte. But the cards don't lie. The wheel of fortune wants us to know that our guides see how hard we've been working - planting the seeds, taking small steps, and starting to build forward momentum towards our goal.

AND we haven't seen the rewards we were hoping for. 🤨

"Making progress in any endeavor requires time, effort, and focus. World-class athletes develop their prowess after many years of continuous practice." - Nicolai Bachman (2011)

In this sense, the Wheel of Fortune is almost like the face of a clock, reminding us that the results we're looking for take time and continued dedication. The fact that we must wait on the element of universal timing does not change the fact that we need to keep up our work as well.

Trust the universe.

The second message today is to have faith in your path. I know it's a cliché to say that "everything happens for a reason", so maybe I'll just say that every life has a pile of good things and a pile of bad, and that the bad doesn't negate the good, or make it less important.

The wheel of fortune reminds us that the wheel of "good luck" and "bad luck" is turning constantly for everyone, not just for us.

Trust that the challenges you face now are the lessons that will help you attain your next season of grace and good fortune, and that you will always be able to figure your way out, through whatever comes next.

A quick note on books:

You might have noticed that each of the 4 golden figures in the image are reading a book. To me, this is a reminder that, while we trust in the universe to guide us on our path, we also know that our path is not just one story laid out in front of us. It's much more like a choose-your-own adventure book. Each turn of the wheel, each choice you make, creates a different possibility, but the growth and the journey are always for your own development and highest good.

What to do this week to align with this guidance:

Practical: Keep chugging along with whatever you've been doing that feels like it's working for you. Even if (especially if) it seems like the results aren't there yet, or the growth is too slow. You might feel like it's time to give up, or to take a break. It's not. Instead, slow down your pace as much as you need to to ensure you can keep going. Or, make sure that you're dialing up your self-care and rest just as much as you're dialing up your momentum.

Magical: Notice what is working Out Loud. When you see small signs of the good coming your way, whether it's finding a penny on the ground, or achieving a small win at work or in your hobbies, recognize it out loud with an affirmation or a statement of gratitude. For example, if you're working to call in more money and you find a dime under your car seat? Say "Wow! I find money everywhere! That is amazing!"

No win is too small this week, and no statement of gratitude should be left unspoken.

Colors to wear: Red, Yellow, Blue

Soundtrack: This song on repeat

See you next week!
