I'm an Olympic Athlete when it comes to Overthinking

The mental gymnastics I need to go through in order to send you these emails are truly impressive.

Over the past 2 years I've written you over 300 emails. You'd think it would be easy for me to write a few more in service of promoting this new AMAZING coaching program I'm doing.

But every time I sit down to write I worry.

Am I being too "salesy"?

Have I sent too many emails this week?

I have so much to tell them about! Can I put it all in one email? Or should each one be it's own email?

What if they are only here for Magical Mondays and they unsubscribe when I start to talk about my offers?

The overthinking can become paralyzing.

Even though I KNOW I'm not sending you nearly as many emails as that company you impulse-bought from on Instagram last week (I mean, that sweater is obviously the perfect one for our family Christmas picture, right?)

Even though I KNOW you'll probably actually need to hear about this amazing offer 9-10 times before you decide whether or not you're going to join in.

Even though I KNOW if I don't get constant reminders, I'm liable to forget something is happening, even when I'm super excited about it, and the same is probably true for you.

I have to constantly remind myself that there's no way to do this "right".

And to remind myself that you're a consenting adult and you're not being forced to read this email, or even open it.

And to remind myself that I am running a business and it's ok (not cringe, or embarassing, or "too salesy") to talk about my business to the people who subscribed to my email list.

Hi! I'm Megan

And I coach women every day on how to unwind their people-pleasing habits.

The work is ongoing. Clearly.

The proof that my methods work? I AM emailing you today. And I'm going to send more emails this time than I did last time I launched this offer. And next time? I'm going to send even more.

I want to be FULLY HONEST right now- I'm in a great place right now. I've made more in 2025 in my business than I ever have before. I've got a beautiful house and a husband & kid I LOVE and I am so proud of the way we communicate together. And also? I didn't get here alone. I have, right now, 5 coaches. 1 mentor. and 4 different groups I'm a part of. Literally all I spend money on right now is coffee and personal growth. This is a HUGE reason I am consistently one of the happiest people I...

Hi love, I wanted to share a little about the Rules of Engagement we’ve created for the Campfyre Collective — not the rules themselves, but the heart behind them. I didn’t sit down and write a list of policies. We built these agreements together — through conversations, lived experience, and a shared desire to create a community where gifted, intuitive, “too much,” deeply perceptive women can finally exhale. These rules are about: • Creating safety without smothering growth • Being honest...

Listen, I LOVE Christmas. Full out, with all my little heart. It always feels like magic to me, pure and simple. But I know the holidays are not joyful for everyone, and if that's you, I need to introduce you to my friend and colleague, Felicia Dilbert. Felicia's book Beautiful Healing (vol. 1) emerged from her own personal journey, and I don't want to tell her story for her. But can I just say she's been through so much, and has made extraordinary meaning and beauty out of things that can be...
